Last night in the Philippines, the Sedong Typhoon (Internationally named Typhoon Washi) hit the northern part of Mindanao and left thousands of families without homes, starving, terrified and grieving for their lost ones. There was a downpour of rain for a continuous 12 hours, which is equivalent to a monthly average amount of rain in the region.
Right now I am putting together a box of old clothes, rice, and other supplies that are a necessity. If you decide to send some as well please just look at this advertisement:
There are other drop off points in DRAFT, DISTILLERY FORT, JUPITER AND EASTWOOD. Please send as much as you can, imagine having a Christmas where you have lost EVERYTHING and suddenly getting something from somewhere you don't know, understanding that people are trying to help around the world. Wouldn't that make you feel just a little less alone?
a very noble thoughts and effort... God bless :)
