The Land of Waterfalls! Brazil: Foz do Iquaçu.

As we neared the Foz do Iguaçu Airport, we flew over miles and miles of trees. I thought that we would be staying in the jungle as I tried to do as little research as possible, so that I could be surprised.

Then, a river came into sight with what seemed like a large hole in the Earth. It was the waterfalls. From above, I had no idea how we were going to get there, not knowing all the roads were hidden by the tall trees.

Walking out the doors of the airport, I could feel the thick cloud of mist as I inhaled the fresh rainforest's air. We took a highway surrounded by miles of trees until we reached a small town. It was quaint and pleasant with many shops and restaurants.

Growing up with Eagle Point Resort

Eagle Point Resort was founded on the coast of a batangas beach. In the early 90's when I was a child I remember Eagle Point Resort starting out as a small little restaurant by the sea, a dive shop, and a few small cottages. Over about 2 decades, this little hotel in Anilao becomes a much larger beach resort that has developed and stretched along the coast. Demand grew for this strategically located dive spot, therefore more rooms were built. After succeeding to satisfy many guests, Eagle Point built a larger restaurant with a panoramic view of the ocean, 2 pools, and more rooms. Over time there became categories of rooms; cabanas, cottages, and hotel rooms.

The Shark pool became an attraction as it was the only one of its kind in the area.
